A reader asked about the 4 back surgeries I had prior to becoming pregnant, and the possible complications that could have occured.

I firmly beleive that a positive attitude along with a daily strength training routine alleviated any risk here.

I stayed strong and positive, and allowed my body to do what it is designed for, mainly to heal and have a baby!

I was on both WGN News at Noon, as well as FoxTV, both based in Chicago.

The baby stole the show both times, and it all went well.
